After two years of focused development, the GF-AD Wolf 25 Air Defence vehicle is complete. ASH SYSTEMS is proud to have engineered one of its most critical components.
The Wolf 25 is a truly multi-role air defence platform. It is designed to meet the threats of modern warfare, from drones and loitering munitions to fast ground vehicles. Led by DefTech Slovakia, the project brought together some of the most capable defence partners in Europe: DefTech, Rheinmetall, Valhalla Turrets, DatCon, Visioneering GmbH, and ASH SYSTEMS.
Why the GF-AD Wolf 25 Matters
The vehicle delivers what modern forces need. It combines STANAG Level 4 ballistic protection, mine resistance, and full NBC air filtration with advanced firepower and mobility. Its core weapon is the Rheinmetall KBA 25x137mm dual-feed cannon, supported by the AMMR radar system and the precision of the Valhalla turret. All of this is packed into a mobile, cost-efficient platform that outperforms many heavier IFVs in both survivability and operational flexibility.
The Role of ASH SYSTEMS
ASH SYSTEMS was responsible for the fire control system, which enables the Wolf 25 to detect, track, and engage threats with speed and precision. This system includes:
- Fire Control Display Unit: Integrates an automatic target tracker and ballistic computer for accurate, real-time targeting.
- Radar Display Unit: Provides a live interpretation of data from the AMMR radar, ensuring full situational awareness.
- Battle Management System: Connects the entire fire control and sensor suite, supporting rapid decision-making and seamless crew coordination.
This integrated architecture turns incoming sensor data into fast, actionable targeting solutions. It ensures the vehicle can respond immediately to aerial and ground-based threats, even under pressure.
